About
MindAid Training was founded to make mental health education accessible, practical, and empowering for everyday people, workplaces, schools, and community groups.
We’re passionate about raising awareness, reducing stigma, and helping individuals feel confident recognising the signs of mental health challenges and responding with care and compassion.
Just as physical first aid prepares people for medical emergencies, Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) equips people with the skills to recognise when someone may be struggling and provide appropriate initial support until professional help is received or the situation improves.
All MHFA courses delivered by MindAid Training are developed and accredited by Mental Health First Aid Australia and facilitated by Licensed Instructors, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based learning.
While we work across a range of industries and community settings, we have a strong passion for supporting educators, school staff, carers, and people working closely with children, young people, and families.
At MindAid Training, our mission is to create safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments where people can build confidence, develop practical skills, and feel empowered to support others.
With more MHFAiders and greater awareness of mental health, we can encourage earlier support, reduce stigma, strengthen communities, and ultimately help save lives.

Meet Anthea Overlunde
Founder & Lead Facilitator, MindAid Training
I’m Anthea, the founder of MindAid Training. With over 15 years’ experience in leadership and people development, I’m passionate about equipping people with the skills and confidence to support mental health in workplaces, schools, care settings, and everyday life.
I’m a certified Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Instructor through MHFA Australia, delivering evidence-based training with compassion and professionalism.
I hold a Diploma in Mental Health and a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, ensuring every session is engaging, supportive, and professionally delivered.
I currently work within a large local school in the Casey area, supporting students through wellbeing and inclusion support services, which further strengthens my understanding of mental health challenges within education and community settings.
As a mother of five, living and working in the local community, I’ve seen firsthand how mental health challenges can affect individuals, families, workplaces, and communities. I’m deeply committed to helping create supportive environments where people feel confident responding to mental health challenges early.
My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where people feel empowered to learn practical skills, support others, and make a meaningful difference — Because Mental Health Matters.
