About
MindAid Training was founded to make mental health education accessible, practical, and empowering for everyday people.
We’re passionate about raising awareness, breaking down stigma, and helping individuals feel confident in recognising the signs of mental health challenges and responding with care.
Just as physical first aid prepares people for medical emergencies, Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) equips individuals with the skills to notice when someone may be struggling and take supportive action.
All MHFA courses we deliver are developed and accredited by Mental Health First Aid Australia and taught by Licensed Instructors, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based learning.
MindAid Workshops are short, non-accredited awareness sessions designed to build understanding and spark meaningful conversations about mental health. Tailored to suit your group’s needs, they’re ideal for sporting clubs, community groups, school leaders, and workplaces—offering quick, practical learning that fits easily into planning days or team events.
At MindAid Training, our mission is to create safe, inclusive, and supportive spaces where people can build skills, ask questions, and grow in confidence.
With more MHFAiders and greater awareness of mental health, we can empower early support, reduce stigma, and ultimately save lives.

Meet Anthea Overlunde
Founder & Lead Facilitator, MindAid Training
I’m Anthea, the founder of MindAid Training. With over 15 years’ experience in leadership and people development, I’m passionate about equipping people with the skills to support mental health in everyday life.
I’m a certified Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Instructor through MHFA Australia, delivering evidence-based training with compassion and professionalism.
I hold a Diploma in Mental Health and a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, ensuring every session is engaging, supportive, and professionally delivered.
As a mother of five, living and working in the local area, I’ve seen firsthand how mental health challenges can affect all of us. With 1 in 5 Australians experiencing a mental health condition each year, I’m deeply committed to breaking the stigma and making support more accessible across our communities.
My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where people feel confident learning and empowered to make a difference — Because Mental Health Matters.
